Arlington Music Hall 224 N Center St, Arlington, TX 76011 is a landmark in entertainment and has a rich past. The movie theatre opened in 1950 and featured the film ‘Sea Biscuit’, starring Shirley Temple. The movie premiere was followed by an unforgettable on-stage performance from ‘The Flying Ranch Hands,’ later known as ‘The Light Crust Dough Boys.

Johnnie High was a singer-songwriter, musician, songwriter, and businessman who purchased the Theatre in 1994 to relocate Johnnie High’s Country Music Revue. Johnnie High’s Country Music Revue, a weekly variety show that showcased local talent, was created by Johnnie High.
Johnnie High’s Country Music Revue has been a doorway for many celebrities over the years like LeAnn Rimes and Lee Ann Womack, Shoji Taki, Blake Shelton, and Gary Morris.
Johnnie High’s Country Music Revue was closed down after 31 years. Burk Collins, a local builder, and fan of country music purchased the Music Hall and renovated it in 2009. This purchase played an important role in the continuation of the Music Hall’s history and the revitalization of Downtown Arlington.
Arlington Music Hall is located in downtown Arlington, among some of the most popular restaurants. It is also just a few blocks away from the Arlington Museum of Arts. The historic venue offers a unique entertainment experience for audiences of all ages. The 1,071-seat auditorium features state-of-the-art sound, lighting, a 2,200-square foot stage, and classic decor, which enhances the hall’s vintage sophistication. While waiting for the performance, guests can freely roam around the “Hospitality Room” which is a 3,000-square-foot bar and concession area. The Arlington Music Hall simply does not disappoint.
